  Austin Powers Ahead Of 007 Goofy Austin Powers has been named as the ideal man from a list of six men described only by their personalities. In a poll in ZM magazine, women were asked to identify the best male role model for the 1990s. They chose the groovy Powers, described as "a sharp dresser" and "a bit of a laugh". James Bond came last in the survey. His description as "a civil servant, good at one-liners, but politically incorrect" failed to impress.
